Sundance Institute Film Series: Blair Witch Project (Film)
Time: 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Location: Tower Theatre: 876 E. 900 S, SAlt Lake CIty
A firsthand account of three student filmmakers who venture into Maryland’s remote Black Hills to discover the truth about the local scaremonger, the mythic Blair Witch. After the trio disappears without a trace, their footage is unearthed one year later, revealing a terrifying account of the events which marked their final days.
Eleven years ago it was THE movie to see at the 1999 Sundance Film Festival and it has inspired a million copy cats, none of which can touch the bone-chilling, soul-stirring, cardiac-arrest-style terror of the original.
Join the filmmakers for a discussion after the screening.
